NY Times and CNN carry the Pentagon's lies
Salon story about how the CNN and NY Times carry the Pentagon's lies. Forwarded by an American security studies student. What's worse? The government lying, or the 'liberal' media unquestioningly carrying its lies and ignoring the statements of eye-witnesses?

The following is no excuse.
Things like often happen in war. They happen more than we will ever know. Many of our troops have in the area including Iraq much longer than they should ever be. Good people sometimes react badly under the stress of war. These men basically are trained killers. They sometimes act in ways they would not otherwise in time of war.
If you go back to look at the Vietnam War the same things happened. Many Veterans will never talk about what happen to them or what they did or what they saw.
